"We have a verse we use for our family. . . 'As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.' Joshua 24:15. Wade rededicated his life in 1995. I have been saved since I was 5 years old. Jordan and Matthew were both saved when they were 3 years old. Benjamin received the Lord in September on his 3rd birthday. I praise the Lord every day that His Spirit is with every member of my family even though they are young."

"Mary makes over 900 dozen cookies per year for dis tribution to the folks at the nursing home where we hold mini-church services on every Friday evening. She quilts, she rollerblades, she cooks, she praises the Lord. Walter keeps the stove going all winter with the wood he splits whenever the opportunity presents itself. He is a primitive painter. He tries not to eat too much of Mary's good cooking. Our favorite place to hike is in the Smokey Mountains having topped out on most of the peaks. We have eight grandchild ren; two of them were married this past summer in South Carolina."
